So I have been brainstorming for cute family Halloween costume ideas for awhile, and I think I finally came up with something I like......Our son (4 years old) will be Peter Pan, our 16 month old daughter (well, she'll be a year and a half come Halloween) will be Tinkerbell, I will be Captain Hook (a lady version) and well, what's left?  Hubby has to be something....he probably won't be happy about it, but he'll have to be Mr. Smee!  Or, I guess he can be the Alligator...........Then, our Newfie can be Nana!  In the original story Nana was a Newfoundland and not a St. Bernard.  All we have to do is put a bonnet on her head. 4951

Last year my son was pac man and DH and I were the ghosts.  He made it so we could change from color to blue... fun! 4951

You could have your husband dress up as something totally unrelated to confuse people, like have him be someone from another Disney movie like Aladdin or something.  4951

You should be Wendy and let your husband be Hook. Wendy is important to the story too Emoticon 4951

ha ha ha hgmag- I responded before I saw your post....I like your thinking!!!

Honestly, I would rather be tinkerbell, but my daughter would be such a cute little tink.

I also found a really cute Saint Bernard costume (Nana), but I think it's just too perfect for our dog to be Nana.

DH will be a great Mr. Smee!  He hates dressing up for Halloween anyway, all he'll have to wear is a red beanie, a blue and white striped shirt, some blue cut off pants and birkenstocks- he probably already owns all of those items, and we can just cut up some old pants.

Very cute idea!! This year my nephew who we trick or treat with every year is going to be Mario, my brother in law is going to be Luigi, & sister is going to be Princess Peach. I thought that was super cute. DD wants to be a character from Monster High though. No group costumes for us. Alice in Wonderland is a cute theme too.  4951

I was initially thinking of Alice in Wonderland myself, as my favorite Disney character is the Cheshire Cat (I have a tattoo of him on my back).  My daughter would have been a very cute Alice, and I was thinking the Mad Hatter for my husband, and of course the Cheshire Cat for myself, but wasn't sure what my son would be- I didn't want to make him be Tweedle- Dumb!  and if I were to be the Queen of Hearts instead of the Cheshire Cat, I don't know if he would really want to be a pink and purple cat!  Actually, my son could be the Mad Hatter, and my husband could be Tweedle-Dumb!

I saw this and thought it was so cute!  I would want a longer, less tight dress though!

Hubby & I love Halloween & we go all out for it every year. HUbby will be a clown & I of course will be a witch ! Last year we had a coffin with a body in it & a bubbling culdren & all kinds of scarey things in our garage . The neighbor across the street is a DJ & he had movies & music running all night in his garage . WE had over 15 pumpkins lit up & sitting every where . Really had a ball teasing the kids & giving out candy treats . 4951
