$15,000 Grant Supports Family Promise Housing Services in Humble
$15,000 Grant Supports Family Promise Housing Services in Humble A $15,000 CenterPoint Energy Foundation grant will help Family Promise of Lake Houston keep working with families who need a stable place to live. The nonprofit is based on FM 1960 Bypass Road East in Humble. The money goes toward housing stabilization, which includes shelter, case management and practical assistance. Staff help families work through barriers to housing and employment and set goals for getting back on their feet. More than 1,000 families have received help from Family Promise since 2009.
