It's probably been over a year since I got a professional manicure and even longer for a pedicure. But I have an event coming up, and need some recommendations. Where do you ladies get your nails done? TIA.

The Nails of America in the big Kroger center up front is decent and so is the one in the back by HEB. Unfortunately, that's the best I can say for any of them.

I'm also looking for a good place. But I'm looking for a place I can also take my husband. He heard some talk about pedicures while at a wedding we went to this weekend about a foot and calf massage that is part of it. He said he would do that.

So if I can get him hooked, then I don't have to feel guilty about getting just mine done.
