Really, Man?!! Ten K Cash, Plus...? The guy shown is on the news right now. He was at Lifetime Fitness, in Sugarland and had $10,000 cash, an expensive Rolex watch, and his entire wallet ,stolen out of one of the locker that you just make up the code for it that day, not one that you bring your own lock. hope he has good insurance, because the signs at the gyms clearly say "not responsible for lost or stolen items", and that is binding. Bless his heart, but I think he is out of luck. My sister was an insurance agent for 14 years , and she says that's gonna be a hard one to prove, unless he is seen on a security cam, putting those items into the locker, which was not mentioned, at all. Why would you bring all those valuables to the gym, and put them behind a thin little composite door, you can easily pry open with a butter knife?! Certainly, if you had that much value with you, you would stop by home, or a family member's home, and drop it off for safekeeping, and then go to the gym? My sister said one guy called to ask how much his wife's Rolex would be worth, if they lost it ? Two weeks later he called in to say his wife's Rolex had been lost… suuuure…

Without crystal clear video evidence of the alleged "crime" the burden of proof is on him. I smell a big old fraudulent insurance claim in the works.

If I withdraw a large amount of cash I may drive a bit to check for juggers, but after that it is home to the safe or to wherever it is meant for! I wonder if he has any kind of receipt for it. Dam, bet it is in wallet...
wmubronco, Donnawisdom and LittleTexas reacted it's mind boggling; I expected him to be lots Younger, when they said they had an interview upcoming, with him. My sister said there is a Lot of fraud and lying, re insurance claims. My ex husband's ex did this, and we caught her. ugh; par for her course, though....
How dumb can you be? Assuming it's not a scam… who does that??
Play stupid games, lose lots of money lol

Does that kind of scam ever work? I would not think so.
Poor thing. Unfortunately, even if he recovers the cash he won't be able to buy common sense with it.
ShadowsOfIga and LittleTexas reacted My sister and those at the State Farm agency where she was an agent said that intuition told her, Every time that it was a scam, so she would just keep making calls, speaking to the police for info, and doing their own digging. Not sure Why people think they can get away with these lies, but...they do. One lady was mad at my Sister, when the lady got caught Lying, she said it was Not my sister's "job" to find the truth, but just to Pay, when they said they lost something very valuable...which ended up being in her brother's garage...which they knew, because they followed her husband To the 'lost' item. Those policy holders find a cancellation notice in their inbox..Quickly!
You would think that man would know better than to leave 10,000 dollars in a locker room at the gym but he thought it would not robbed. Shame on him.
LittleTexas reacted I'm glad they catch scammers like that. I just hope they are also prosecuted and penalized.
