I don't think 494 crossing North Park will be opening anytime soon. First the marquee on 494 stated closed till July 31, then it was Sept 15, now it just states that it is closed ahead, right turn only. They aren't even trying to name a date!

Seem to remember this being the case when they redid the section near KW. Guess it's hard to know or keep a deadline for finishing this type of work. I really feel for those who have to deal with this on a daily basis and for the businesses.

I grew up in Houston. Interstate 45 has been under construction the entire time. They gave up saying when (if) it would ever be completed.

I guess it's good it has been dry so they are making good progress vs if we had big rains. So do we want dead grass in our yards or progress on the Northpark project? Hmmm.
