Jason Landry, missing since 2020, identified after remains found

I am so glad his remains were found and give some closure to the family. Now they need to find out what happened.

I remember that case. I wonder if he suffered a head injury and just wandered off not really knowing what he was doing… he took the keys but left his wallet and stuff scattered around the scene.

OMGosh, I was just thinking about this case the other day and again wondering whatever happened to him. I'm glad his parents now at least have some closure.
I read the article, and since I'm not familiar with the area, I'm wondering how far from his wrecked car did they find his remains.

He also had is beta fish in a cup in the console. It is just weird all the way around.

I never heard that. Seeing how he was on his way home for Christmas vacation, he probably was bringing it with him.

I hope his family gets closure now, but I wonder… the report says they searched a pretty good sized area, why didn't they find him sooner?

ILoveReading : It is questionable they were never able to find him before now, but I don't know all of the details. The search efforts were extensive.
