Astronomy Day Houston Returns to Humble ISD This SaturdayAstronomy Day Houston 2026 is coming to the Insperity Observatory in Humble on Saturday, September 19th, with a full afternoon and evening of free astronomy activities for the public. The event runs from 3 PM to 10 PM. Afternoon activities will include indoor and outdoor talks, youth activities, solar observing and guided tours of the observatory and Astronomy in Art installations.After sunset, visitors will be able to view the moon, planets and stars through professional telescopes, followed by laser-guided constellation tours beginning at 8 PM. Admission and parking are free. Parking will be available at The Luke Church, 2380 S. Houston Avenue in Humble, with complimentary shuttle service to the Insperity Observatory.Humble ISD requests that reservations are made for planning purposes at astronomyday.net
