There was mention of Camp Olympia. It brought back some fond memories. My wife used to work for HISD and she coordinated sending 5th graders from all over the district to several camps, Camp Olympia was one. I thought this was just the best program HISD had. The camps were really set up well and the kids got a chance to experience something that many never had a chance to experience before. It was a great memory for many of them. HISD stopped that program not too long after my wife retired.
I was just wondering if something like that could be set up in the HUMBLE and surrounding school districts?
It's just a thought.
