More clarification on the SWAT standoff this morning. ABC 13 seems to have more information than the other networks. In the interview with the homeowner on TV, he also indicated that his daughter who lives in the house is 6 weeks pregnant and that Bingham is the father. Still don't know where the gunshots came from, and their house is badly damaged. Sad!

muffy :
Don't believe he said anything other than sounded like gunshots. That could have been the windows being busted out. They wouldn't have fired guns unless the suspect shot at them. There's more to the story besides what the homeowner is saying. Allowing a registered sex offender to EVER use your address for registration is unbelievable, yet alone the County even letting these offenders be within any proximity of schools

ExTxOfficer :
Definitely more to the story - and I have not seen any mention of who turned him in!
And...how could the homeowner not know he was in the house? Didn't the guy ever have to come out of where he was hiding to use the restroom? Did he need something to eat or drink? Does the daughter live there - and, if so, how did he not notice she had gone out of town?
More questions than answers...
