Want Some Laughs?

Every once in a while I take a look at what people have posted in classifieds. While the items listed are sometimes shocking, the real joke is in the price they are asking for them. Does the "Kingwood Tax" apply even to used items?

Well, you gotta ask for what you want Emoticon Better to list high, then you have time to negotiate "down" to your preferred price. Also, many are including their emotional attachment, or meaning of an item,in the price, which I understand, too. But, I agree. I see some items, and will literally say, out loud..."No Way!".
(p.s. love your screen name Emoticon )

Some things are listed for sale because the spouse or a child is demanding it. But the owner does not really want to sell. Thus the ridiculous price.
Just like rental prices on some commercial properties. The tax write-off on an empty space can be better than the rental income.
