New AutoZone Coming to Northpark Drive in Kingwood

Plans have been filed for a new AutoZone development at 1378 Northpark Drive in Kingwood, according to a Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation project registration. The privately funded project calls for the new construction of a 25,453-square-foot facility with an estimated cost of approximately $2.58 million.

Construction is currently listed to begin on January 17th, 2027, with completion projected for August 6th, 2027. The project remains in the registered stage, and an official opening date has not been announced.

@Chow : Yah.....this seems like a dumb place to put a parts store when there are already 2 others that I never see very busy

💯 same with that Chair King place on 59 feeder by the mall. Their stuff is 10x the price of anyone else and no cars ever in the p-lot

agreed; they rarely seem busy. I have gone twice this year,for small items. The staff is always helpful, but not sure we need Another one?

@Chow : We bought outdoor furniture at Chair King 16 years ago and it is still going strong. It's aluminum and mesh but it's all still in near new condition. Expensive yes but it sure does last in the Texas sun.
