There is new real estate on the drainage ditch between Gladehill and Hickory Village! Someone put up a bat house by the footbridge on a post that is 10-12 ft tall. There are actually two of them...one on each side of the ditch on opposite sides of the bridge. Hopefully, they will help keep the mosquitoes under control.

There have been bats at Gladehill and Clover Valley in the past. I hope that is near where you are referring to. Thanks to the peeps who put the houses up!

I haven't felt the same about bats since that kid in humble died from a bite from a bat. My daughter worked with his brother at HEB. That was so sad.

Love sitting out back and watch the bats at dusk. There is usually 3 that fly in a triangle pattern over back yard.
