The little DA's are out and I don't mean district attorneys. I know this has been hashed over but today was different for me to observe. Couple days ago it was 2 young girls on electric scooters going down Tree Ln. in the middle of the road with a car behind them. Did they go single file, no. Did they pull over to let the car go by, no. Well today was the most scary. Kid on a mini bike (not electric) going down Woodland Hills and went right through both STOP signs at Tree Ln. and Woodland Hills, turning into Bear Branch. Please be careful!!!

Ruger5 has said..if the schools would prohibit them...we would be leaps and bounds ahead in terms of safety.
If the adult doesn't enforce laws you get this. Look at the illegal golf carts, illegal driving, illegal parking around kingwood. Some are promoting total anarchy. They won't last long when it happens.

Just like I told my DH, if the parents don't care, and neither do the kids playing Evil Kenevil, then it's difficult to have a lot of sympathy when they get hurt. Everyone all around knows the risks and they all were willing participants.
donnatella : Just the other day I saw a pic of a child who was "popping a wheelie" with an E-bike! It was scary enough to see this happen with a bicycle let alone...motorized!
cbear : Then when he gets hurt, that's on him and his parents. Eventually, when the medical bills and other expense pile up, they will finally wake up and start to care.

cbear : OMG ….these kids doing wheelies ride down my busy street all of the time. Some of these bikes have a platform to resttheir leg, so their parents know they are doing wheelies. I literally have anxiety attacks watching them.

muffy : Please don't let their irresponsible behavior affect you and your health. It's not fair for you to take on the concern and anxiety if they and their parents don't. Wish them well, but try to let go of that anxiety. « Back to Chat
