New HEB Coming To Valley Ranch, New Caney
Construction is scheduled to begin in January 2027 on a new 124,970-square-foot H-E-B store at 11940 N. Grand Parkway East. In comparison, the H-E-B located on Northpark Dr. is approximately 102,000 square feet and the Kroger Marketplace at Valley Ranch is approximately 123,000 square feet. The privately funded, $45 million project will also include a fuel station and car wash. According to project information, construction is expected to wrap up in late October 2027.

Glad to see them putting this into gear. They actually pulled the permits for this about 3 years ago, and now that the anchors at VR ( Target, Academy, Kroger, etc) are in place, and doing well, they are moving forward with construction. There are also rumbles of a McDonald's coming to the center, there. ( and let me guess...a Starbucks!?) The new convention center is almost done, as well, and that will being more customers for HEB and other merchants.
could be one further down the road from the center and immediate strip centers to come? there is a Sonic in both KW and New Caney.
As if.... they bought the land at 1314 & 99, cleared the trees... then abandoned the project.... we shall see... I'm not holding my breath!!!
Joe and HappyDay2016 reacted commerce; HEB knows it can come in give the people another choice. they are almost done with the VR convention center, and the HEB will begin a lot of growth on 'that side' of 99 at 59, so they want their cut. I like the idea, so that Kroger has to stay competitive.

Will this be where the trees are between that shopping center and the movie theater? Hopefully they keep some trees in the parking lot for shade. I like when they put the round cement circle around trees in the lot. Texas heat we need shade. In Mexico HEB has those shade triangle things on poles over their parking lot, wouldn't that be nice and instead of crawfish it is fajitas
#msg5956673HappyDay2016 : No, this will be the other side of 99 (south side).
