FYI, The Kingwood Park and Ride

I was surprised to see a bus today on Kingwood Dr turning onto Lake Houston Prky

I was surprised to see one at 10 PM on a Saturday night................

Sweetpeas6 : Thank you kindly for the post my dear, much appreciated. Good to know if using/needed.

I wish it was through the 18th, but it's only through the 11th. I've been using it as much as possible. $3.25 each way and you tap your credit card on the reader then find a seat. Don't have to mess with driving or parking.

Sweetpeas6 :
Yes I was reminded today when I turned into the bus exit and saw it waiting. I was on the way to take the recycle to the bin and put some newspapers in the Dora's Dogs box.

How long does it take to get downtown?

Dora's Dogs thanks you for your newspapers!

v1kings28 :
depends on the day and time. weekends about 40 minutes. weekdays early, and workday, and 'come home from work' times, an hour or more. the events of the 4th will add quite a bit to the travel times, though, and you could easily be an hour and a half, to reach downtown. Gets crowded when you get close to Daikin Park or a bit before, so there is your delay. Oh, and merging. Texas is not a merging State!

Sweetpeas6 : It's July 11th.

oldman53 : I didn't know that. So every day you can ride for free, all year long?

CaffeineFree :
Well at least there is something good about being old 😂
