Donnawisdom, according to the vet, it's common for people get their dog chipped but not follow up with entering their contact info in the system. The dog doesn't appear to have been on the streets long. It is friendly and well behaved.

@Kayagirl, she's a sweetheart. She sleeps at my feet and follows me everywhere. Hard to believe someone might have dumped her.

Dogcheeze : my rescue friends and I have not seen anywhere that she's been posted as lost. But I don't think she was dumped. She's too healthy looking we will keep looking.

Had a situation develop, long story but the dog is being picked up by the SPCA in case anyone is interested.
