I think I know who you're referring to. I usually see her in front of the convenience store that's across the street from Wendy's on Lake Houston Parkway.
I haven't seen her. They are gutting those green belts in Greentree terribly. It won't be long before she has no trees to go back into.
The heavy equipment is crushing the concrete paths and they have stripped out so many trees (live and dead) that you need a very large sombrero, spf100+ and thick sunglasses to walk the green belts.
Very very sad.

I saw what looked like a homeless man maybe late 20's, sleeping on the grassy esplanade at Kingwood Dr and W Lake Houston yesterday. There was a dirty blanket a few feet away from him.

If you think about it the illusion of having a home is just that, an illusion. She is really in charge of her own matrix. Doesn't have to listen to the system and can just be in nature. Takes a lot of nerves to do that.

You couldn't live in the woods if you had to?

I live very close to that "underpass" by Creekwood, drive by there at least twice a day, but I haven't seen her. I'll keep a closer eye out. Very sad.
This is not all Greentree across from Creekwood, but as far as them clearing out "greenbelts", I do wish they'd clear out the underbrush, not trees, in the median of WLHP. Poor visibility makes for hazardous turns there. I've seen 3 very bad car wrecks right there at that intersection recently!

Oh and my son tells me they aren't homeless just people without a home. He has such a big heart. To me those two things mean the same thing. He doesn't know he was homeless the first 7 months of his life with his birth mom. I'm so Thankful to the people that helped them. He is such a joy.
