Bad chicken from Northpark HEB? I went to the grocery and got s
Bad chicken from Northpark HEB? I went to the grocery and got some chicken breasts and a few days later I opened them to cook them and they were rancid. Still in date though! I took them back to HEB and got them replaced, I even bought a different brand. I got home and those smelled off too! I talked to my BIL and Cousin about the experience and both of them told me they had the same issue recently. Just curious if others have had this problem and also wanted to make people aware! Definitely disrupted my dinner plans twice!

Roxy24 : I have gotten a few things that were "off" but from the Town Center location. It is frustrating, trust me I know, but it happens (most likely when people leave it out, it gets off temperature and it somehow makes it back on the shelf.) I am glad HEB makes it right though.

Roxy24 : Salmon has been really slimy and stinky lately, wonder if food is not being kept at the right temp in the trucks.

Roxy24 : Got a bad lemon yesterday. Fortunately only fifty cents. Ended up using my lemon juice instead of fresh lemon.
Roxy24 : We dont buy meat or chicken at HEB. Been more than once that there were bad spots, smells, etc from meat. I take it back, and most likely have my receipt, and get my money back, but just don't want to deal with Why it happens so often, at HEB.
