I kept putting it off getting the vaccine. Well, such is life about 3 weeks ago my back started itching. So
murry said looks like Shingles to me. So off I went to MH Emergency by HEB and the Dr.did confirm. I was on anti-virals and murry applied good Ole Calimine lotion. It was a real challenge sleeping. I am almost all better then, my wisdom tooth cracked and had to go get that pulled. That was last week and so far healing nicely. By God's amazing grace I was able to make it through and ready to enjoy the beautiful mornings sipping coffee and enjoying all the birds singing their beautiful songs again!

golfshot : You can't seem to catch a break. I had shingles back in 2015 and mine showed up on my side and the upper part of my face. It was like my skin was on fire while being constantly stabbed with tiny needles and covered in poison ivy at the same time but every time I itched it, needles scraped me. It was miserable. And a cracked tooth to boot? Man. I'm glad you're starting to feel better.
golfshot : So glad you are feeling better. Wow, you have been thru so much lately. You're overdue for quiet beautiful mornings with coffee! I'm due for my 2nd shingles shot on Friday. I've made zero plans for the weekend, as I hear a good number of people get a systemic reaction from the 2nd one. Hoping for the best but preparing for the worst.
golfshot: So sorry you have the shingles. Both my mother and mother-in-law suffered with shingles, so I got the vaccine a couple of years ago. I have heard it may be genetic, and have encouraged my adult daughter to get the preventative vaccine.
