So does anybody know any of the patient advocates at HCA or have the name of any who are worth a dang. I will be her advocate but I would like to play by the rules first and honestly would like some actual help from someone who cares. They had to bring my mom to HCA bc of the circumstance and I have had some ok experiences there and some horrible with family members. I don't want to be a meany but I will fight for my family. Just needing a helping hand and if not I will do battle. OK my steroids are talking again. That is all for this post at least TI A

If Patient Advocate not assisting, ask for your Charge Nurse.

If those two don't get it right, you cam ask for a hospital administrator. Family had to go that high during Covid but normally those lower solve the problem.

RachelS : I'm sorry you are dealing with an HCA hospital, they are the worst. Even most of their employees will say that. Which location are you dealing with? If it's the one on Red Oak, pm me and I'll give you a name. Extra prayers are going out to you.

Ask to speak to a Hospitalist. An RN we are acquainted with says that is really one of the patient advocates.

I have not ordered his materials but have seen numerous of his videos. He teaches you the legal jargon that makes things happen and gives good advice.

Maybe put a call into the Insurance Co and explain the issues you are having at HCA...
