Lights blinking
Kingwood drive at Woodland Hills intersection, at 8:30 this morning. Traffic wasn't too crazy with the Presidents Day holiday.

Ok - this has been on my mind for way too long. I need some answers here. Does ANYONE know what causes these lights to blink? Why don't they just 'auto-reset'? It obviously has power, it's blinking.

Yes, I forgot to mention it. I drove through there this morning around 7 am and they were blinking. Traffic wasn't too bad yet, and everyone was careful to take turns, but it is a really bad intersection for that. I hope they get them working again by this afternoon.

I went through there at 8:30. It amazes me how many people are clueless as to how to treat a 4-way flashing light.

Let's ask Mr. Science!

"Good evening, boys and girls! Today, we're going to learn about a most helpful guardian of our busy streets - the traffic signal!"
Flashing yellow means: "Proceed with caution!"
