Don't worry, y'all! Since I've bought my generator, we have not lost power. I think I fixed Kingwood during storms, at least.Knocking on wood 🤭

DDSS : Once ours was installed, it was several months before it was needed. It seemed to be a great deterrent!

Talk about timing! the Grand Momus Mardi Gras parade just ended, the streets are dry in Galveston, sky is calm, but it is definitely Incoming. Tellement Chanceaux, as they say!

I hope we have avoided the worst of it! No straight line winds, tornadoes or hail, and, we need the rain!

Yes! Radar looks good. We got 1.04 inches of rain so far.

Here we go. Light just flickered and I heard a nearby transformer blow. One goes down and the rest are like dominoes.

Kittle : We are also at 1 inch.

the young lady on Ch 13 keeps talking about calling people you know at the parade in Galveston, to warn them. The parade was Over at 7 pm. They even showed a shot of the Seawall, and it is Empty...most have gone inside, to continue partying, but I am sure cell phones there are pinging with weather alerts. really just looks like the same thing we just had. thankfully, not as bad as predicted.

We were watching Channel 11; Pat Cavlin was doing a fantastic job giving real time updates. The storm shifted a bit southwest of Galveston thankfully. Pearland apparently has a tornado briefly pass over taking down some fences.
