Did you know Williams tower near Galleria has four cat shadows (each side) that show up at different times of the day? The architects all happen to have a cat and added it to the building with the sharp edges as seen in photo. Another cool fact about this building is it is still believed to be the tallest building outside of a downtown area in the world.

Txbutterfly : The top square shadow in the center is the face and ears in the building design. Then it has a small shadow neck etc. It's the shape of the building, how the shadow is formed, making it look like a cat. Not an actual sculpture.

HappyDay2016 : DH worked in that building for almost 30 years and never heard of the cat shadow. They were told the building is the tallest outside of downtown areas west of the Mississippi. After your description I was able to see the cat. Interesting.

HappyDay2016 : Those are some pretty cool and fun facts. I kind of see the cat design, but I think it's too blocky to really recognize it as one at first. It's still neat, though, thank you for sharing this!
