When is the last time you've gone to an Outback? Family decided to go this weekend and we had three steak meals that came with two sides, a children's cheeseburger that was large enough for any adult, and it came with fries. Shared a hot fudge brownie dessert, 2 adults drank Diet Coke, free refills. Lots of hot, tasty bread with butter, too! Under $80 for all. Great waiter, good food! This is the one in the Woodlands. We haven't been in a while but now we will definitely be back. I'm sorry that ours closed in Humble though.

LittleTexas : It has been many many years. My DH and I had our first date at the Outback in Humble. I had their lamb chops at a festival. They were some of the best I had ever had.

LittleTexas : We went to that Brazillian place in the Woodlands for our Anniversary and won't ever go again. The steaks at Outback were better quality and taste! We went to the one in Humble for most special occasions with Gringos a close 2nd.

LittleTexas : We had just rediscovered Outback a few months before the one in Humble closed. I like their 3 course meal with grilled shrimp.
luannski: i hear you; older son took me to Salt Grass last week; had to beg for bread, it was cold. Neither steak cooked as ordered. Tiny portions. We were overcharged ($80 for 2 people, we drank water!), and brought it to waitress' attention that we'd ordered from lunch menu, so should be at Least $17 Less. Her response: " thats what I heard you order.." and walked away. Son had left a Generous tip, but cut tip Way back. She told us they would not be any manager there until 5 PM so she couldn't help us. Nope. Never again.

LittleTexas : That looked really good, and I miss the Outback in Humble. We went to that one a few months before they closed. I think that maybe it was just a difficult location for it, and they didn't seem very busy. I'm glad we still have a lot of other choices for steak places in our area, though.
mm4731: the Humble location closed this is the location on 45/Shanendoah Woodlands. We got there at 5:15, easily seated. Left about 7:00 pm and the place was filling up quickly.. no wonder! Great waiter; monitored drinks, hot bread and all requests accomplished quickly.
LittleTexas : Salt grass never recovered after Covid. Prices were higher and food and service really bad. a shame

LittleTexas : All of that food looks so good. We have not been to an Outback in years. I think it's time to go there again. I'm glad you and your family enjoyed your meal.
LittleTexas : We haven't been to Outback in a number of years. You had a good experience with a lot of food for $80. It's great to rediscover an old favorite.
TEXASGIRLMAMMA : They have a wedge salad that my DIL and I want to split next time, and we need to get a Bloomin' Onion again; it was always a family favorite.

Donnawisdom : My son had put us on the waitlist before we left the house, which is convenient on a busy weekend, but we walked in about 5:15,and chose our table. Still, being able to get ahead of a waiting game would be good, on a busy weekend night. It was full, when we left.
