Have you been to Mike's? You could find a group there for sure. Advise, stay off traiks and go to the big gully/drains

Seems you would be able to get a meet up at a place to talk about them. So many different groups meet at places like Starbucks or whataburger or such.

proudgram52 : Lots of people riding real 4 wheelers and dirtbike have created a pretty nice dirt track on the old kIngwood Cove Golf course down by hamblen road, the track is on the 18th hole, my son has been having a blast BMXing on it, it has a few jumps some nice burms and few straight ways. I think it would be great to run RCs on too. the dirt bikers are usually using in on saturdays, but there is no one down there on most afternoons.

Mike's is a hobby store on Knox Rd between 494 and 59/69 feeder.
They have lots of RC related items. They also sponsor the Kingwood Area Train Club.

If you are talking radio control cars, a town I once lived in set up a track every weekend at one of the schools in the parking lot. Brought in rubber bumpers and had ovals and figure eights and jumps sometimes. Did Not have a car myself, but would go with my son to watch them. Do not know what the local Humble district policy is on something similar.
