Mardi Gras krewe interest?
Mardi Gras krewe interest?
Mardi Gras krewe interest? Has there ever been interest in starting a krewe in Kingwood with an annual ball? My hometown had a krewe and it was much smaller than Kingwood and a very large event locally.

maditorrent : I think the cc does an event but not a krewe. I would love it!!!
maditorrent : Id join a Krewe! been a part of different ones in New Orleans and Galveston, in the past. Always fun. We had a dressy ball/dance, but a casual evening would be just fine, and a great time, too.

maditorrent : I would love it! I ride in the Krewe of Okeanos in New Orleans. I'm not riding this year though.
ThisGuy : Do you think there would be interest within this organization to start a krewe?
maditorrent : as much as we would love to do it, we are too busy. We actually just took over Kingwood Farmers market, we run both Lake Houston Farmers Markets. We organize all the core events in Kingwood. (Including the 80's fest coming up on the 17th and the In a Pickle Festival) AND we run a brick and mortar pickle shop in Old Town Spring. I would love to support the group and be part it if someone wants to start it up! « Back to Chat
