Questions for any motorcyclists on here ........

Questions for any motorcyclists on here ........I used to ride many years ago back when I was younger in NY. I'm thinking it would be fun to ride again. I'm starting to get the itch again, so to speak. I know what's coming from some so I'll head that off right away - YES, I know it's dangerous. I suppose so is getting out of bed in the morning. I do truly appreciate the concern from those who are inevitably against people riding bikes. All that being said, here's a few questions I have to those who may have been riding in the area for a while:1- When I transferred my NY drivers license to TX years back, I had no intention of riding again since I hadn't ridden for decades. I don't even remember the details on how it happened, but bottom line is the motorcycle endorsement from NY didn't carry over to my TX license. I know I have to go to a motorcycle course, which after all these years of not riding is a good idea anyway. Where is a good course around here? I remember seeing people taking the course at the now closed Harley dealer on 59, but they're closed now. ( and no, I don't want to buy a Harley.. )2- I'll need to buy a new helmet. I don't even know who sells them around here. I don't even remember what size I was. Who has a good selection to go in and try some on, to get an idea of size and type of helmet I'd like to buy? There's no way I'm going to ride without a helmet. 3- Who do you guys use for servicing your bikes? I can do a lot of it, but I'd like to have backup for things I can't do or just don't want to do because I've become a cranky old lazy guy. 4- Where are you guys buying bike insurance?Thanks
