What is his name? I don't know if this will help you, but when our dog went missing, she started out by going in the direction Steve walked her every once in a while. Ours went over the walking path into the other side of Trailwood Village, and over Woodland Hills AND Kingwood Drive, and this was her first trip out alone. So don't underestimate what they will or won't do just because this is not the norm for them.Also, she was afraid she was in trouble when I came to get her. (She's always kind of nervous.) She wouldn't come when I called her to come to me, so I said, "Come on! Let's go see Daddy!", and she came running to me! LOL! (She does the same to Steve! "Go see Mama!")We live in Kingwood Village, too, so we will watch out for him! 👀Post LOTS of signs and on Apps, especially at major intersections.

Ive had 2 Schnauzers and they were both wanderers when they got out so look all over and if you live close to a greenbelt start walking.

Frightened dogs can really travel. Post signs in Forest Cove and other neighborhoods around yours. Beware of scammers who want a reward sent before they return your dog. With AI, they can make any dog look like yours. If they want to meet, go to the local police station. Lost pets may also need help finding their way home. Set out some of your recently worn clothing and/or their bedding.
Paws crossed he is nearby and just hiding.
