Has anyone been to the Houston Thanksgiving Parade?

It holds all my childhood memories of Thanksgiving. My dad used to be in charge of all the designs and building of the floats. Months of going to the warehouse running around and playing all the floats and riding on them during the parade. Long days for him but fun for us. Sorry, I can not help you regarding parking but look up the route and surrounding lots. Maybe some garages will be open for parking, too.
