If you are seeing a group of tween boys on ebikes and e-scooters in the wee hours on the weekends, they are normally at my house, asking to sneak out. I allow it, because I watch them on FindMy, or ride with them myself. They are usually heading to an all night quick stop to buy some snacks since they can't wrap a house without fear of getting shot these days. Been here 50+ years, yes crimes do happen from time to time, but Kingwood is a relatively safe community. It's never had a place for teens to congregate though; not since the arcade, movie theater, and roller rink went out of business in the 80s.
JamminTX : There was Gameforce lan cafe at town center in the late 90's or early 00's that was open late and did lock ins after midnight but it seems like most kid friendly buisnesses in Kingwood only last for a single cycle of kids before rent causes them to either close up or move out(there was another lan cafe at the front on Northpark at one point and timeloop is now on 494 in the old biker bar)
JamminTX : I wish there was still something like Mountasia still around. When I was a teen I would drive all the way out to Northshore to go to a place called Teen Rodeo. It was a night club just for teens. What great memories I have of that. I always wished they had one closer.
