Good Night for The Light Park!

I've never heard of this and I've lived here 22 years! Looks like a great way to get in the holiday spirit! You really do know how to find fun places to go in the area 🩷

I just looked into this a bit this afternoon. Seems pretty pricey to drive through some light displays. Anyone been? How long is the drive through the lights? I saw there were three locations that were close: Katy, the Race track and Spring. One said it was in a parking lot so it's hard to imagine it would be that big. We love to drive around and relive our childhood looking at lights but not sure we want to anty up some serious bucks to do it. For those who have been...worth it or not?

Are all three Houston locations the same displays? We've never been.

I think they vary a bit, but the one in Springs is supposed to be the best one. You only buy one ticket, per car. If you have 4 or 5 people in your car, it is well worth it, compared to some of the holiday events in our area. It is fun; we brought our own drinks and snacks.

I saw it's $40ish per car, not per person. How much time do you spend driving through it? It looks pretty but it is in a parking lot? So, are you through the whole thing in about 10 minutes? Or is it a whole evening event? We may take senior family members. We're trying to determine if we'll spend more time driving to this than actually seeing/going through it....and if they may see just as many lights driving through nearby neighborhoods. Thanks for your post...the timing couldn't have been more perfect.

LittleTexas : Last year, HARTA members went to Houston Botanical Gardens where they had a walking tour of fabulous light show with HUGE Chinese lanterns, and lights...............unbelievable!

The light park was so fun and cute. My teen kids ranked it as their #2 Christmas activity. We packed my brother's truck bed and brought our hot cocoa and snacks. I says its 100% worth it. It is not a whole night thing. But we made the best of it. We usually eat dinner as a family (Rudys) then pile into my brother's truck & they have lights & music while waiting in the line to go in. It's fun. I want to say the actual light show is maybe 30-45 minutes to drive through.
