Which is all the more interesting when Centerpoint puts out periodic announcements about how they have and continue to beef-up the grid to make it more hurricane resistant. Frankly, I'm not seeing it.

I live in RB and it has gotten out of control. People are having equipment fried bc of it. The worst is when it goes out, then jon30 seconds later, then put… rinse and repeat a few times. I now unplug everything after round 1.It also makes working from hard quite difficult.We have a neighborhood FB page and it's been lively, to say the least.

Texasdad : Oh hell no! We'd look like every other new, cookie cutter neighborhood with no trees and rows of homes. I could never live in a place like that.

In reality, the only defense is a good quality surge-protector on the big appliances and a whole-home generator. It stinks but both have become necessities since CP has completely failed this area.
