If true, this is BS. I looked back 4hrs so if this a duplicate, my apologies.

Not sure how the legal parts extend through the sell. I know some neighbors who didn't get their back porches approved and was wondering if it was only if someone complains.

Although I understand the purpose of an HOA, this is BS and is a money grab.

For a backyard ground improvement,I have to submit architectural drawings?!?! FO

I don't see how they have ground to harass or fine this homeowner for something that was done with the homebuilder.

My neighbors built a screen in porch and it looked like a half *** fish camp. It is right on my fence line which is very very close to them. It fell apart and looked awful. Then they had a very nice one built. I am
sure the first one was not approved. I am all for HOA approval because some people would just throw anything up.
It should not take long for their approval.

Maybe you should start a gofundme or pay the difference of what they can afford to build something to your liking.

Hell, I can't even get my neighbor to consider to pay half of our shared fence replacement.
