Updated drought monitor as of Thursday, 10/16.

Conditions continue to worsen, especially for the northeast area that includes Kingwood.

Possible a tiny bit of rain tomorrow.

Weather Service says:

Friday: A chance of showers and thunderstorms before 1pm, then a chance of showers between 1pm and 4pm. Partly sunny, with a high near 88. Light and variable wind becoming southeast 5 to 10 mph in the morning. Chance of precipitation is 40%.
