Monks Indian Bistro in Humble is worth checking out. We did not know they existed until we were leaving Olive Garden one night. We finally got around to checking out Monk's this weekend and we were not disappointed. The restaurant serves an Indian/Chinese fusion. The food was delicious. The restaurant is spotless and the service was impeccable. Even better; our bill was ~$75 for a family of three, and we all left with leftovers. We tried the Tikka Masala, Saag Paneer, and Sichuan Noodles with a basket of Garlic Naan. It was all outstanding. Be careful, their Garlic Naan is addictively good, we could have filled up on just that. Do go try them out, if you are a fan of Indian food.

JamminTX : Thank you for the review. I wasn't aware of this place either, and will see if my DH would like to go try it out. We've been looking for some good Indian and/or Chinese food in the area.
cbear : They are 9626 FM 1960, behind Olive Garden.
JamminTX : Oh ok. Off the beaten path a bit. Got it. I just detest 1960 though. Ugh.

JamminTX: the food at Monks is really good and there's a wide variety of options. Only negative is that it was extremely cold in the restaurant.
cbear : Not really off the beaten path, just kind of hidden behind Olive Garden. If you have the courage to cross FM 1960 from the Sam's parking lot, straight into Deerbrook Commons, you can get there by taking Townsen Blvd West. Monk's is on DoorDash too, if you don't want to drive at all.
