Memorial Cross on Sorters Road

Longshot, but does anyone, by any chance, know the history behind a white, makeshift cross with the words, "Remember Me Mike" that used to be on Sorters Rd between Michael Lane and Ravenwood, on the west side of the road? When we first moved out here over 20 years ago, the sight of it, when we drove past, was poignant. I just realized it is no longer there and it made me sad for whoever may have once erected it and the reason they might have done so.

Mike Stewart died in a car accident. I didn't know him that well but he seemed like a pretty good guy. His stepdad was Roy Head and his stepbrother was Sundance Head if you know who they are.

I remember the Head family. Sundance was on American Idol and I believe won The Voice with Black Shelton.
