That's so discouraging. After Harvey we got a Kingwood resident on the SJRA board for this very reason, I hope he's still on it.

Thanks again Bob. Property owners on Lake Conroe need to realize the lake is a water reservoir for COH first and recreational second. It's just a part of life they pay the higher taxes for lake front property during storms and droughts.

I listened to the first 30 minutes of their conversation, heard the conversations described, and didn't hear anything that was concerning to me. It sounded like they just reviewed the issues, acknowledged their responsibility for upstream and downstream flooding, while voicing frustration that Lake Houston gates are now going to possibly be completed by 2029...maybe. It was nice to hear they are just as frustrated by the delays as we are.

Thank you Bob. Sounds like the LCA is working these meetings. Do you know if Kingwood has a regular advocate that attends these meetings and speaks out like the LCA?
