I think you can park one of those "Got Junk" pods on their driveway for a reasonable period of time, and get away with it? I would do it, and wait for them to say something. By then, you will be done with the job, and can then have it moved.

Thank you for helping your parents. Many children just won't. The HOA should allow a designated time period for moving and/renovations.

Who is their garbage service? Some of them also provide dumpsters and haul off for fees.

I recently went to an Estate sale and got a whole set of Cutco knives for $50.!

I used YJOT (Your junk our truck) just last week. They have a coupon in our More section and do a senior citizen discount, also. Two guys came out and they were very pleasant and helpful.
I also know a guy that will take metal, salvage items for free. He came out today.

We hired Got Junk and they came and put everything into the dump truck- we just pointed out everything that had to go. We tried to stage everything in the garage but they did come into the house and got furniture

Buy a Waste Management bag from Home Depot cost 30 or 40 bucks holds up to 3000 pounds if I remember correctly, they come pick it for 200 dollars. Might be your cheapest route.

I had a car like that once. Missing half the front grill and some other stuff. But nobody ever tried to cut me off on the freeway.
