That's awful. I'm surprised she got away with that at such a public event. Thanks to your DH for cleaning it up, but he really shouldn't have had to.

We honestly thought she walked off to go get a bag but she never came back! We were all kind of flabbergasted because I can't imagine any dog owner I know doing something like that.

No way we were leaving it. We were right next to a candy vendor and there were tons of kiddos walking through the grass.

Totally should have but honestly thought she left to get a bag, never imagined it was just a walk off and leave the HUGE pile of poo.

That's disgusting so close to food vendors. Such a disrespectful dog owner not to come prepared.We can't go to festivals that allow dogs because my 7-year old grandson is terrified of dogs and so many people let their dogs approach him thinking everyone loves their dogs. Today as we were driving by, he saw the signs for pickle festival and was so interested but then saw all the people with dogs so we just kept driving.

wouldnt have taken the dog in the first place; lots of overwhelming there, for an animal: strangers, smells, crowds, heat, etc. TG your dh took care of that 'mess' :0
