RolloTomaso : speaking of drivers, a kid in a white Tesla came barreling down High Valley yesterday, turns left onto KW Dr & guns it to I bet you 100 mph- no kidding. We were literally the only two on the road for a decent stretch there til we hit a lite. I get up beside him & see he's like 16 years old I roll down my window, he rolls down his, I smile & say please slow down, I wouldn't want you to get hurt. he timidly says yes man, I say be careful & off we go. He stayed well behind me until turning onto WLH. It was literally the fastest I had ever seen anyone drive in this town - and I've seen some speed racers around here in my time. 🫠

Before dusk on multiple occasions I have seen 2 cars racing from Northpark to Tree Lane on Woodland Hills Dr. I was crossing over and nearly got hit.

ForestFinds : These teenagers (almost always boys) ugh. I recall more than a few local deaths due to dangerous driving by teenagers. Tragic. And now all these elementary and middle schoolers running around town on motorized vehicles! And have you noticed how big these motorized 'bicycles have gotten? Saw one yesterday that was as big as a small motorcycle. Yikes! I swear the little stand up motorized scooter (that now holds two little bodies) one day…….one day the 'driver' is gonna cross the street without looking and run smack into their deaths. Scares the crap outta me!

I nearly hit an adult on the crossover in median from Bear Branch to Woodland Hills on Woodland Hills Drive. He did not stop and I slammed on brakes missing him by an inch. The paint that says stop was still on greenbelt, but fading. Might be time to inform HOA that they need to put new paint that states stop.

Donnawisdom : I have never in my life done that before……when I looked over & saw that little guy (and he was tiny) then that baby face - he looked 12, the mama/granny bear came out. I would have wanted someone to do that for my child. In todays world what I did was actually not smart. But damn, I swear if he had hit a curb, woulda been lights out.
