We needed a new variety of restaurants in New Caney

Several years ago it was announced that BJ's was going into the former location of Joe's Crab Shack in Humble. Then of course it never happened. It was one of the few chains that I was willing to become a regular.

Too bad it fell through. I definitely would've been a regular myself.

The center/area is being developed by the Signorelli Company; the have some agreements with the spots already there, to add them as restaurants, after the center there, proves itself in revenue and traffic. In and Out in the Woodlands will prob keep one from being opened in our area, for awhile. Maybe one day? BJ's is inconsistent, and Cotton Patch can be dismal at times, and you never know When that will be. We don't need any more pizza or chicken spots in this part of the County. Never heard of Mt Mikes or 54th Street; do they have locations in any other parts of Texas? There are some diverse and delicious options at Grand Food Zone on Speed Street, in New Caney. That location is a very nice version of a food truck park. We have had good pupusas, burgers, and fusion dishes, there. They have all kinds of fun events there, too.

I know there is a WH in Atascocita. However why don't KW or NC have one? I think they would do good.

If I remember Hot Biscuit was the s*?t in Porter when waffle House first came to town

Spork : Joe's has been empty for what seems like 10 years! It has a nice outdoor patio with a sandy area for kids to play in too. Seems like an ideal spot for a family style restaurant too.

golfshot : I personally like them and they are usually located just off freeways too.
