I heard it too. It was extremely loud and it did not sound like fireworks!

I heard a tree fall at 5:57 A.M.

Police were on greenbelt earlier, as they were about to leave, tree made a cracking sound and all lights were on the area where the tree fell.

I heard those two. I was thinking it was somewhere down North Park.

I wonder if fireworks are being set off at the fireworks stand area along Northpark Drive?

billcherie2 : COH is still flaring off the excess gas created by Kingwood at the wastewater treatment plant. It might be related to the bears pooping in the greenbelts leading to subsequent tree falls.

The Halloween place testing for this fall?
