Brooklyn is not a chain; owned by a nice, local family who gets the water to make their crust From NY, and that is why it is so good!

I am dying to try this place. I love sampling things I have never had before but my wife finds something she likes and sticks to it (usually sample size of 1 - thank God).We both are drawn to Neapolitan pizza but this place just beckons from all the positive feedback. I'll probably just need to sneak away, sample a slice, and NEVER tell her about it. Wouldn't be my first time. I do it with donuts. Won't be my last either.

Right after I graduated from college, and moved to Houston, we used to go to Harlow's to eat, late at night, and loved it! Star Pizza was good, back in the day, too. Not sure if they still do it, but Italiano's in Humble had a 'by the slice' option at lunch. Brooklyn has a 2 slice and a drink deal; that is how I discovered the one in Humble, and got to know the brothers and Dad who own/run it. They are from Europe, but settled in Brooklyn years ago, so named their place after their beginning in the US.
