Water / Waste Bill - what are you paying?

How many gallons does the bill show ?

Fulcrum : People: 2, sometimes 3; Shower: 3 per day; no bath soaks; lawn: no water- we let Mother Nature do it. 1550 square foot house. Bill is usually 60 a month. One month it was 105 but then it went back down. A few years ago it was only 35 per month.

My guess is that you are not with the City of Houston because earlier in the year I only used 1,000 gallons and it was over $50. With all the base fees, I think it's impossible to get a $35 bill

Your bill is from the city of Houston as opposed to a MUD? I watch my bill like a hawk and haven't seen a bill under $35 at current rates and fees

My July usage

A separate meter for a sprinkler system will reduce sewer fees.

I thought about that, high up front cost. Maybe early next year

For July, we used 7k gallons of water and our bill was $68.65.

COH $60 a month average in summer. No pool, mother nature does the watering. In the winter months the bill goes down to around $30-40

runs approx $60 a month
