Cuz I don't get HOA or property tax income! Kingwood could carve out a quarter acre from existing, all Kingwood veterinarians and animal hospitals could sponsor/donate, THEN I'd be glad to pay some.

If Kent and I were not so old and tired, a dog park, would've been our next step in expansion. Someone really needs to make this happen.

dlruggles : First, a quarter acre wouldn't be near big enough. Second, it has to either be a city sponsored, maintained and regulated facility or it has to be an all private venture or business. We had one in Kingwood years ago but it was a complicated messy situation and it just disappeared from what I've heard.Anytime youre dealing with animals and People, it can be tricky. Who's responsible for injuries? What regulations would there be? Do dogs have to be vaccinated? Just the beginning.
