Looks like another kid got hit on a bike by the entrance to Walgreens on Woodland Hills. He seemed OK Walking around. As a mom this scares me to death. As a driver it is scary. Accidents happen that is why they are accidents. BUT we need to talk with our children more about being aware and safe and As a driver stay hypervigilant. Prayers for the lady in the car and for the young man on the bike I know they were scared out of their minds this morning!!

Praying they are both OK. I can't imagine how awful someone would feel if they hit another person with their car. I slow down so much when I get to crosswalks just to make sure there's no bikes, kids or animals darting out. These days you have to be so aware when you drive but also when you walk or ride your bike.

There is something wrong with that crosswalk. If you going to cross from N to S and use the button to cross Northpark it doesn't stop the left turn lane from the North side of Woodland Hills.
The kids get the walk signal though thus could get hit.

RachelS: my son got hit crossing Woodland Hills and northpark. . He was nervous going through the lights and got hit ! He survived and so did the person who hit him but how scary that was !
