jrjtex : I just saw this on another site. Here are 2 commissioners' statements regarding Lina's meltdown which is a little surprising since they usually agree with Lina.
I agree with Garcia - Harris County deserves better!

Adrian is upset because Lina no longer does everything he tells her to do. He wants the job but is not sure he can win. If he had stayed as sheriff, he could have had that job until he retired. But he tried for something bigger, got beat, and now is just one of several county commissioners

Greenwich: Unfortunately many people cast their votes on name recognition alone

SarcasmWins : that's sort of unfair. He now has a vote on the court, before he worked for them and they controlled his budget as Sheriff.

She used to be really good person. A granddaughter introduced me to her shortly after she won the first time. Gave her some unsolicited advice: Be careful who you listen to and take advice from. Unfortunately, she listened to people who pushed their opinions and policies on her, and then she listened to people who told her she could do no wrong. Hoped she would have come back as her old self after her month-long self-imposed rehab, but apparently not. Really hate the way she is becoming, and I blame all her "advisors" and "consultants".
