Hey all. We heard a few minutes ago some shots fired on Village Springs Dr. Woke up a neighbor. He saw no smoke. Vehicle squealed off afterward. We are safe. But, I don't know if that's the case for the person who was shot at or whatever the situation is.
Heathur : I read about a lot more shootings and crime everyday happening in Spring on click 2 ... I don't fear for my safety in another website area.... Unless it's personal.
RolloTomaso : Totally off subject and not terribly close but a friend works in the Willowbrook area and told me earlier today how rough that area is getting. I haven't been out that way in a few years but I remember it being nice when I was growing up. Kinghood just felt silly and appropriate to use this context, lol. The world is definitely changing.
Heathur : My bad ... And I totally, unconditionally accept your response... In my defense, some folks around here have conditioned me to think it's something else. Personally I can't stand it when anyone refers to this area as "3rd world" or hood anything... I think Kingwood is a great place to live! And I'm looking at y'all from Atascocita 😜
RolloTomaso : There are so many places in the world that don't even have running water or electricity. That have makeshift homes built from corrugated metal sheets, tarps, or mud bricks. Where open sewage runs through ditches, and the air carries the smell of waste. Kingwood definitely isn't a bad place to live. « Back to Chat
