I'm watching a cell form over me in Trailwood.

East central Harris County in southeastern Texas... * Until 545 PM CDT. * At 516 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near East Houston, or near Cloverleaf, moving southeast at around 20 mph. HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and penny size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees. * Locations impacted include... Cloverleaf, Channelview, Barrett, Highlands, Sheldon, Hunterwood, eastern Houston Ship Channel, East Houston, and Lake Houston. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Remain alert for a possible tornado! Tornadoes can develop quickly from severe thunderstorms. If you spot a tornado go at once into the basement or small central room in a sturdy structure. For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a building.

LittleTexas : Yes its south and east of us moving south and east.
StormChaser : We had a nice little shower - about .15 of an inch - at this point, we welcome every drop of rain. Those COH water bills are a killer.
Next storm up Special Weather Statement 
At 522 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near Cypress, or near Tomball, moving east at 30 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and nickel size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... Tomball, The Woodlands, Spring, Oak Ridge North, Willowbrook, and Hooks Airport. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm. Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe shelter inside a building or vehicle.
Heavy cell west of tomball moving in our general direction. Special weather statement on that.

StormChaser : Just got home. There were about 12 big drops of rain, and no more, on my windshield. This morning was enough of a frog choker, for me, out In it! But, we Do need rain for lawns and plants, but Not all at once.
