Kingwood High school was awarded The UIL Texas Lone Star Cup twice. It is quite an honor for the combination of award willing athletics' and academics. That was painted on the front face of the high school above the main entrance . The previous superintendent removed it or so I was told when I asked why it was not repainted after the renovations. My children were a part of that and I think it should be on full display. Instead of worrying about hurting someone's feelings , why not think about encouraging pride in the accomplishments of your school.
